Hydrophobic membrane. Can withstand aggressive solvents, liquids, and gases that damage other membranes. Eg: filtration of HPLC solvents.

Hydrophilic membrane. Mechanically very strong and exhibit excellent wet strength and dry strength, resistant to certain organic solvents. Adapted for use with samples which have a high pH. Eg: filtration of mobile phases, buffers, etc.

Hydrophilic membrane. Limited resistance to solvents. CA membrane filters have very low protein binding, which minimizes sample loss when filtering protein-based aqueous samples.

Hydrophilic membrane. Mechanically stable with low protein binding. Chemical resistance suitable for a wide range of aqueous and organic media. Compatible with the solvents used in HPLC.

Hydrophilic inorganic membrane. Extremely low protein binding minimizes sample loss. Wide solvent compatibility. High pore density and narrow pore size distribution make it an extremely precise membrane. Ensures minimal extractables. Virtually transparent when wet making it highly suitable for microscopy studies.
