The enamel-coated housing is resistant to acids and alkalis. The magnetic stirrer can be used at ambient temperatures of + 4°C to 40 °C and a maximum humidity of 80 %.
A protective device switches the appliance off if the temperature of the plate exceeds the set temperature by 30°C. Including Teflon-coated stirring rod (6 x 25 mm) and removable stand rod for e.g. pH meter or thermometer.
