For most routine applications in the field of molecular biology and molecular diagnostics, the previously described filter tips are adequate. However, since DNA, RNA and proteins tend to adsorb to plastic walls, the use of Maxymum recovery tips makes sense to avoid this phenomenon and to increase pipetting accuracy through perfect tip run-out.
These hydrophobic filter tips completely eliminate aerosols. The products are gamma-sterilised and are used to prevent cross-contamination. Sterile work is particularly important for all PCR techniques where contamination with foreign DNA via the pipette can lead to false results. However, the use of filter tips is also recommended for other applications where contamination of the pipette with biological, radioactive or corrosive materials is to be avoided.
These filter tips have the same properties and shapes as the sterile tips described above, but are not gamma-sterilised. They are particularly suitable for cost-conscious users who want to plug the pipette tips into existing racks themselves. The tips are produced and filled under clean room conditions and are DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free. They can be autoclaved by the user if necessary. (Autoclave at 120°C under 15 psi for 10-15 min.)
For many applications, especially in molecular biology and immunology, the quality and accuracy of the tips are extremely important. Our tips are of the highest quality to ensure the reproducibility of your experiments.
• 100% compatible with Eppendorf pipettes of corresponding volume ranges • Problem-free use in the ep.TIPS box from Eppendorf • Highest quality and fit guarantee the reproducibility of your experiments • Graduation for checking the pipetted volume • ETY: Graduation at 10 µl - 50 µl - 100 µl; ETB: Graduation at 110 µl and 500 µl • Certified DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free
• Gamma-sterilised • Suitable for various applications, e.g. cell culture • Highest quality and fit guarantee the reproducibility of your experiments • 99.9% pure polypropylene, metal-free and free of additives, dyes/fillers • Precise tip opening for perfect sample discharge • Highly transparent • Opened racks autoclavable • Certified DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free
The production of "low retention" tips is based on a new process without the addition of silicone, which could interfere in experiments. The effect is extremely smooth surfaces that prevent sample loss. When used in the microlitre range, especially in PCR and other molecular biology applications, but also in quantitative experiments where precision is essential, these tips offer the optimum in accuracy and guarantee that DNA, enzymes and proteins can be pipetted without loss.
Our pipette tip refill systems are easy to handle, space-saving and environmentally friendly by saving used racks. Handling is as follows: remove the empty insert from the rack, insert the new tip insert - done. Five inserts each are packed between the bottom and top sections so that a rack is immediately available. For T004.IN the rack must be purchased separately, for GC.Tips.IN and T002.IN a rack is included. The tips are available in the three standard volumes 10µl, 200 µl and 1200 µl. The inserts are coloured for better identification: brown (10µl), blue (200 µl), green (1200 µl).
The cell saver tips have an extra large tip opening to allow the transfer of sensitive cells (e.g. hybridoma, hepatocytes or macrophages) and to avoid cell damage. Unlike the use of standard or "bevelled" tips, the Cell Saver tips can also reduce the "DNA sharing" of genomic DNA. They are also an aid when pipetting highly viscous liquids. The tips fit all common brands of pipettes.
