The CryoGen®Vial system is designed for cryostorage of biological samples at temperatures down to -196°C. This innovative product line is characterised by an extremely tight closure due to silicone injected into the lid. The tubes are produced in class 7 clean rooms in compliance with the following quality standards: ISO 13485:2004, ISO 14644 and 14698 (Federal Standard 209). Each batch is beta-radiation sterilised. Each tube can be identified by its individual barcode
Tubes for storage of biological samples at temperatures down to -190°C, DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free. Silicone seal between screw cap and tube guarantees tightness at all temperatures - also for storage in liquid nitrogen. The tube is closed with 1/4 turn. Tubes and closure are made of PP with the same coefficient of expansion. The graduated tubes have a white labelling field and can be coded with coloured inserts (see below). Free-standing cryotubes can be snapped into the "workstation" for easier handling. The cryotubes are gamma-sterilised and are supplied in resealable safety bags of 100 pieces.
The long shape of the closure guarantees easy, one-handed handling. The tube is closed by 1/4 rotation. The tubes are supplied in resealable safety bags of 100 pieces.
