Biochemical identification of gram-oxidase enterobacteria -
System consisting of 18 biochemical tests dehydrated in wells.
7-step identification• Collect one or more colonies and suspend them in a tube of physiological serum to obtain a turbidity of 0.5 MAC FARLAND
• Add 0.2 ml of this solution to each well
• Place wells 2; 3; 4; 7 and 8 under anaerobic™osphere by adding a drop of Vaseline oil
• Incubate at 36 °C ± 1 °C for 18 - 24 h
• After incubation, add Voges-Proskauer reagent to well 10 and Kovacs reagent to well 11
• Look up the 5 digits obtained in the code book to identify the strain
• Record the test results on the form provided with the kit
