These semi-dry blotters offer fast transfer times for DNA, RNA and proteins of typically 15 - 30 minutes. Both devices can be used for all blotting techniques. Gel thicknesses from 0.25 to 10 mm can be blotted without further accessories. Both devices are compatible with omniPAGE electrophoreses.
"Semi-Dry" blotting requires very small amounts of buffer, typically only a few millilitres. The lid can be lifted off completely. It is screwed to the base unit, with even pressure ensuring optimal transfer and even temperature distribution. The corrosion-free electrodes ensure many years of trouble-free operation.
